The initial reviews are on the money -- many of the screws are already in the item and have to be removed and then used. We also have plenty of screws leftover which was generous of the manufacturers. We purchased this in November when it started to get cold. Had friends over to social distance in Northern California -- it got down to 41 degrees outside, however we were able to stay outside until midnight comfortably (with a light jacket and blanket too - its not summer) but we are grateful to have purchased these at a good price.
The build quality for the price paid is good. Assembly is difficult in some areas, fasteners that are hard to get at, and the instructions are somewhat vague. Aesthetically, this unit is very nice. If you want more heat output over a wider area, the umbrella type units without the glass tube do a better job.
Briefly put, this might be the most useless thing I have ever bought. Unfortunately, it doesn't end there: I spent 3 hours to assemble it. PS. You need to literally hug the pyramid to feel any warmth.
We are really enjoying this heater. It arrived quickly and had no damage (one minor scratch on the base). It took my fairly handy husband about 5-6 hrs to assemble. We have had friends over for socially distant happy hour and this has been a great feature to keep us warm and add ambience. It gives off a soft romantic glow too. Thanks Belleze, overall great quality for the price.
I would have rated this higher if it put out more heat. It looks great when on. The instructions could use some better clarification, but was still pretty easy to put together. Like someone else said, took more than the hour recommended. I was PLEASANTLY surprised at how quickly it arrived and undamaged. Priced right.
